Nah, Australians are more energy efficient, that's all :lol:

You're talking 12Amp, which is about 150Watts. If you have plenty of lights on simultaneously then an upgrade would help. If you are not seeing the lights blink when idle then you don't really need it, but power is power, and who doesn't want more?

When we purchased it, they offered a 1 year/unlimited miles bumper to bumper warranty. I believe thats what it is referring to. Not sure where the buyback reference is coming from. Think they will buy it back for what we paid for it after we put about 12,000 more miles on it?

I believe so. Back in 05 when I was configuring my CRD on the Jeep website, it would not allow me to select any other ratio than 3.73 with the diesel engine option.
