Pulling the fuse disarm the SRS system,and if you want to double make sure then disconnect the battery also and then turn on the headlights(to drain any juice in the system).I have had professional training on SRS sytems and I'm GM and Chrylser certified to work on SRS sytems(worked at a GM/Jeep dealership bodyshop).I replaced a few to know,they are fun to explode in the parking lot though,launch about 75' in the air,cops don't like it

Oh and any tampering with the SRS system will void any warrenty and if you have a accident that someone is hurt really bad or killed they will look at the SRS system and if it was tampered with(any aftermarket switches or disarmed) the insurance company is no longer liable for the damages and medical bills.Plus tampering with the sytem could cause the airbags to go off.
