Just wanted to share this link of a Liberty 33": http://www.f4x4.is/new/photoalbum/defau ... dsite/2644

And while I'm at it, over here it is common to lift Jeeps and other 4x4s, not necessarly lift so much but also cut out the fenders and put on custom made fender flares, for lower centre of gravity & better flotation on snow (esp. if you deflate the tires).

A few interesting links from the main 4x4 club over here:

that KJ has been posted before on here. i dont like it ( just my opinion). i do see where that would be the way to go over there but for what i do no way. that big of tires on it isnt good either, but to each his own and im sure thats what works for where he lives so its fine. please dont take that the wrong way im just stating how i feel about it and that it wouldnt suit my needs.

Sorry I didn't realize that, saw it on a parking lot a few weeks back and then stumbled on it on that page, thought it might be interesting being so different.

It is different...I can give him that. But those 33's are going to kill that poor little, tiny, aluminum D30 sooner or later...

I am from Iceland...you can see my "IS" decal on the back window:
Image

In Iceland (Island), suspension travel is not the main objective when traveling anywhere, especially north of the most sounthern regions. Flotation is crucial. Expedition vehicles...usually Toyota Land Cruisers run HUGE tires and crevace stingers...so they don't fall in any breaks. You have to build your vehicle to the condittions...you should see some of the F1 Hill Climb Videos on You Tube...straight up with monster engines...

I really like that kj on the first page, simply because its built for a specific purpose. i think thats really really cool! i'm not sure if i personally like the look of it or not, but i love the idea of building something for a specific condition. kinda reminds me of AEVs Iceland Commander. :D

I can't get over how far those wheels and tires extend past the bumper. Could you imagine the Jeep without those flares??
