My wife rolled up her window and it just dropped into the door, this is the fifth window regulator we've had replaced my 06 Liberty. This is totally crazy who has ever heard of such a thing, the driver’s side window has issues as well and the service department’s answer was to lubricate the window track every time I wash the jeep.

Nah, just proves that Jeeps shouldn't have windows. We wouldn't have any of these discussions if Chrysler kept the good ole plastic window that you unzipped, folded over and stuffed inside the door...

Just voted in the poll. My '03 has had zero problems, and from all the posts I've seen on this issue I think the poll will show that most of these are happening in the '05+ models (but again, that's just my guess).

When I got back from a year deployment both my rear windows needed new regulators. Suprised me that they both went out at the same time litteraly 5 miles down the road from the storage lot. Again '06, i just passed 10,000 miles and I hope its not a regular thing that I'll have to get used too!

Daspes - your right on with the zip up vinyl windows! We use vinyl on all of our humvees that arn't uparmored which used to be all of our trucks but that number is slowly dwindling down to nothing. I'm going to miss the old days where you just lift up on the door and it slides right out of the holes and you throw it in the back. darn'd armored doors weight 100lbs these days.

I can't believe all the window regulator problems apparently with Jeeps.

I got a 14 year old GMC truck and have replaced 1 windor regulator in 14 years and 200,000 miles of use. Drivers window.

Got a 9 year old cutlass and 1 bad regulator in 9 years and 150,000 miles of use.

KJ is an 05 so any day now they are going to start to go south??? Jeep must be getting them at the dollar store.

The have a TSB out on the windows. I had to get one of mine all lubed up. It would struggle to go up and get all crooked and then back to straight before it made it all the way up.

The lady at the dealership said it's a very common problem.

A company that was focused on customers would pay for these repairs themselves or do something as compensation. Jeep loses a few points in my book with stuff like this.

Plus I'm sure they have known for a couple years that the windows have a problem, but they just churn out the '07's with the same old crap. It would drive me nuts to do that to a customer if I owned a company. They could at least fix the problem before building new ones. It's just a window......how hard could it be to make some that aren't screwed up.
