I was on at 5am today - where were the rest of you!

Had to get up to bid on eBay UK!

Geez Pipeliner...haven't you heard of auction sniping???
Does it for you at the last minute.
Have a look at auctionstealer.com
We've been using it for years, you get some freebie snipes every month, but we subscribe to get unlimited snipes.
Ebay...just another of my vices!!

Yes I've heard of it (never tried it) but I prefer to bid at the time rather than set a highest bid some time in advance. Like this morning, There was one guy last-minute-bidding with me and I went one bid over what I would have previously set and got the item.

Still, must find out more about this sniping stuff - these early mornings are killers!

I use both auctionsniper.com and justsnipe.com
Have been successful with both sites but then again the vintage cameras I buy doesn't have a large market in Australia :D

auctionsniper you get 3 free snipes and then pay per snip after that.

justsnipe you get 5 free/week but limited to 8 seconds before end of auction.

The sniper only puts on the next highest bid, so if you set your maximum to $100, and the item is at $47, it'll come in and put $48 on to win.
Anyway, try it out on something cheap first.
We love it.
M.

Yes, what's the topic? I feel that I need to contribute to something other than the quote I'm doing.

Sorry I was away for a minute.

New battery you say, well thats just dandy :P

Like my father always said, you can't go wrong with a new battery, It'll start your car when a flat battery won't.

Strange ability to state the obvious my Dad, but, heck he was always right.
