Well all the components and PCB's have arrived but some misc mounting hardware that is backordered. Who would have thought Mouser would be out of 4-40 x 3/8 screws and nuts? Anyway I will get the kits divided this weekend and have them ready to ship when the rest of the hardware arrives. There are still some kits available as I ordered extras for those who did not signup in time. Here is the updated paid list...

If you have paid and it is not reflected, let me know.

GREEN = PAID

Check last page for current list...

payment made
I also have a friend who just needed to have his EGR replaced at 45,000 miles on a 05 sport with mostly highway miles. He now also wants a kit, is there one available?

Thanks,

Chris

Anyone who missed out I am going to sell mine and have LOCOCRD ship it for me. Just let me know for sure.

Same price as what they sell for. I just want my money out of it.

I was able to get about 75% complete on seperating the kits out yesterday and expect to be done today. If the additional hardware arrives today I should be able to start shipping kits tuesday or wednesday. There are stiil some members who have yet to pay or contact me. Please let me know that your payment is on the way or that you atleast intend on completing your purchase or as the few additional kits get sold I will start to sell off those kits who have not contacted or paid me. That being said, there are still a few unspoken for so anyone who missed out on the signp or just now has decided they want in PM me.

Dennis

Well everything is ready to ship except when I was building one up for the pictures on the instruction sheets I found out that I had mistakenly ordered the wrong standoffs. I have the correct ones on order and will ship when they arrive. Man expidited shipping is pricy.

Check out the PCB mounted fuse holder and extra room to mount the power resistor on the bottom on the housing...

Excellent! That addresses all the issues I had with the previous units. Nice work.

cerich,

I thought the same thing when i saw pictures of it. i have NEVER soldered anything
before in my life and i did the soldering in about 2 hours. go get a $15 soldering iron
from radio shack, a $2 perf board and a 20 pin anything. READ the soldering iron
about tinning and rock out the perfboard test connection. you know what connections
are supposed to look like, imitate them. if they are not full cone shapes, guess what,
you get to practice fixing them!

*edit*
oh and don't touch the crimped ends that you have just soldered to the wire... i am still
not getting the correct sensations from that area of my right index finger

Thanks for the hope, I needed that!

Now the question is do I wait until the warranty is up (I have a 100K extended that covers the EGR) or do it now? If I wait another 49.5 K how much crap in the engine and other damage will not doing it now cause . I have a 05 and have never had a EGR issue so I expect this one needs to die soon...
