Submitted a request for the Gladiator pickup and a general focus on diesel for high efficiency vehicles. Pointed out that its ridiculous that the Chrysler homepage has a article about the Patriot that achieved 55mpg on a trip across Europe, but we can't buy it here(diesel).

Going to ask my contact inside Chrysler what he thinks of the site and if he believes they will be listening or if its just PR...

I think they need to work on customer service. Poor service is what drives people away from Chrysler products. I have driven Chrysler products since 1974 and when it is time to replace the Liberty I am going to look at other alternatives. We rented an Xterra for a week to tour the Outer Banks and I liked it.

I think the new management knows that customers need to have more of a voice and this is one of the things they are doing.

In the past they have wasted money sending me surveys with canned softball questions. There was no room for questions I had, very little room comments of any kind. The survey for the Liberty was obviously the same survey the survey company sent out for minivans, etc. Those questions were not the questions they needed to be asking.

The recent involvement of the Jeep engineers on web sites, and the new performance Jeep division shows that they know they need to listen more and send time developing their client base. Hopefully they will listen.

I asked for more diesel vehicles.

Take a look at the Jeep site in the UK. Everything has the 2.8 VM Motori engine. Give me a Wrangler Unlimited with the little tractor motor. That would be one cool vehicle. :)

:D I gave the bean counters at Chrysler a piece of my mind. I am still having my tranny slip between 1st and 2nd and it does not matter if
its cold or at operating temp. I guess they will fix it if it falls out on the road before my warentry is up. I also down shifted while accelerating
from a stop. went from 4th to 2nd. real fast. Chrysler service sucks.

I gave them my 2cents about the crappy FE and loss of power from the updates. I said, "Give us the tools or or fix it right!"

Can you please please please find a final solution for the Lower Ball Joint problem on the KJ in Europe...??? Just order another recall and give us all Moogs. Thanks, Tony

Hope this helps? After the F23 I blew the left in 5000Km / now the right one is toast.

I personally believe we can thank the tree hugging hippies and the State of California for the vanishing Jeep diesels.

You got it, I am stuck in Sacramento, CA for an extra day because they had to clean off a garbage transport auger in the Environmentally Friendly (CACA EL POLLO) way before they welded in the new part. Now I don't get home until early Sat morning. :( :(

Steve

PS Yesterday I spotted a municipal street sweeper spewing out more smog that even the City of Chicago would allow, last time I checked other than DOD, Governments do not get exemptions on emissions.
