From their website:
"Open all day, all year-round
Over 6,000 Acres of Mountainous Terrain
Elevations up to 3,300 feet high
Over 200 Miles of Marked and Rated Trails
Details trail maps available
Beginner, Intermediate and Extreme ATV Trails
Levels 1 through 5 4x4 Trails and Obstacles
Two Convenient Trailheads
Primitive campsites
Minutes from rental cabins, RV Hookups and other amenities
... No Fees or Permits Required! "

Can this be true?!?!?!

Anychance the person who runs this is a memebr of the French or Eversole Family?

This, my friend, is why I want to go and check it out. I have heard nothing but good about this place. As far as who owns it...I personally do not know...

It appears to be owned by a group of people if not the county and is used as a draw for area businesses. I just saw where a cousin of mine is on the board.

I think we could do the weekend of May 24-26. Lemmie check with the hubby. I have to research where this is... and what the commute would be. The primitive camping sites are convenient though.

I'm saying yes, for now.

It'll be a drive, but should be only an hour beyond Livingston, and Don & Henry have done that drive. You end up dropping down 65, picking up 74 in Indy, 75 in Cincy, and if we do it right, we can get a caravan going at all these places...

Hey all,

NOTE: that on my browser the reservations page is NOT a secure page. I would call with your credit card info rather than enter it on the page. FYI

You only need to use a credit card for a cabin rental of which they have none left.

I know, thought someone would want to be sure it was a safe site.

Ummm... I just did the google maps for Harlan and Windrock (oliver springs, tn), and they are exactly the same time from Dayton. Would anyone be interested in making this an East Coast Safari Pre-Run? I know we've been talking about Harlan for a long time, so a NO is fine, but I think I'm going to go to WindRock and PreRun for the Safari.

Doing this makes sense to me...let's see what the general consensus is.
