Solved:
AC pressure switch sense:
Image

Power harness to fuse box harness:
Image

Engine ground:
Image

Engine ground again:
Image

This broken bugger appears to connect to a crank position sensor:(90% sure on this one, so its in the solved catagory)
Image

This other connector looks like the oil pressure sensor(located under the turbo):(90% sure on this one, so its in the solved catagory)
Image

The crank sensor:
Image

Now these two plugs are labeled with bosch on the connector, one is almost certainly the ECU plug, but the other? If it were a RHD harness it might be for the trans controller, but this harness also should be for a MT, which is also indicated by the lack of a complex harness running back to the transmission.
Both are ECU plugs:
Image

Since supposedly this harness is for a MT I think these two connectors might be for manual trans:
Gotta be for reverse switch and speedo pickup right?
Image

Partially solved:

Now these plugs come out right by the filter head, the large plug is surely the plug for the throttle input, however the two smaller plugs I cannot make out, as far as I can tell the older KJs did not have a temp sensor or heater plug in the filter head, Uffe or other EUR/AUS guys have any thoughts?
So the large plug for sure is for the APP, and the two smaller ones seem to be for the WIF and heater.....question is, which is which?
Image

Another ground looking cable, coming off the neg batt terminal, along with a very heavy guage wire, the plug is very similar to the glow plug harness plug, anyone tell on theirs where it plugs in? (glow plug controller/relay?)
So tony, is this part my fingers are touching is just hooked up to a relay?
Image

Now all these plugs are over on the right(passenger-US drive) side of the engine bay, the large main connectors tie into the cabin harnesses, but this small 2 wire connector doesn't seem to connect to anything on the engine, anyone see something similar on theirs?
I think coolant level sensor, tony says......
Image
this is where it comes out of the loom:
Image

Complete unknowns:

I have zero clue what this connect could go two, there are no sensors on the engine where this could possibly plugin, and the sensor plug that is relatively close to it on the loom is labeled "engine coolant" and plugs into a sensor on the head which is surely the coolant temp sensor. The only thing that has come into my head is that it might be a WIF sensor that plugs into the bottom of a filter, can anyone see where their WIF connector runs into the loom?
Ok, so its not WIF, I can't find anything for it to bolt to, so I have about zero clue what it is.
Image

Gotta be MAF connector, Uffe or others with older KJs I believe yours was different from ours, so I think yours should look like this:
Ok, you guys dont have a MAF connector, so we dont know what this sucker is yet:

Okay, I'm pretty sure at this point this is the AC pressure switch connector:
Image

Tony:yep

Image

I think that this goes to the under hood fuse/relay box, can anyone confirm?
EDIT:Uffe confirms it goes to the fuse box
Image

Tony:yep

Image

Tony: its not the WIF(meaning water in filter?), but I cannot see (hiding behind intake manifold?) one on mine, sorry don't know

Image

Looks like an engine ground, no idea otherwise:
Image

Big honkin engine ground, probably grounding near starter:
Image

Tony: they both hook up to the stud on the engine just above the starter

Image

Another ground looking cable, coming off the neg batt terminal, along with a very heavy guage wire, the plug is very similar to the glow plug harness plug, anyone tell on theirs where it plugs in? (glow plug controller/relay?)
Image

Tony: this is connected to another big grey connector probably connected to the glowplug relais, check wiring schematic I'll send you later

Image

Since supposedly this harness is for a MT I think these two connectors might be for manual trans:
Image

Tony: this is probably reverse light switch and gearbox temp

This broken bugger appears to connect to a crank position sensor:
Image

Tony: could not see it, exhaust heat shield blokking my view

This other connector looks like the oil pressure sensor(located under the turbo):
Image

Tony: could not see it, exhaust heat shield blokking my view

Image

Image

this is where it comes out of the loom:
Image

Tony: I think it's the airconfilter sensor, the coolant level comes from the engine loom

Image

Gotta be MAF connector, Uffe or others with older KJs I believe yours was different from ours, so I think yours should look like this:
Image

Tony: I do not have a airflowsensor anywhere near the airbox so mine works with a MAP, so I do not have that connector

Now these two plugs are labeled with bosch on the connector, one is almost certainly the ECU plug, but the other? If it were a RHD harness it might be for the trans controller, but this harness also should be for a MT, which is also indicated by the lack of a complex harness running back to the transmission.
Image

Tony: surprise, they both plug into the ECU

Image

Tony: Heres the ECU cable bundle small wire negative connection

Image

Now these plugs come out right by the filter head, the large plug is surely the plug for the throttle input, however the two smaller plugs I cannot make out, as far as I can tell the older KJs did not have a temp sensor or heater plug in the filter head, Uffe or other EUR/AUS guys have any thoughts?
Image

Tony:yep, the big one goes in the throttle control

Image

Tony:nope, the little ones do connect to the fuelfilter, the 'water bowl' has a boiler style heater and a water sensor

Image

Tony:SAM ( not calling you SIR anymore now I know your age :D ) if there's anything more I can do let me know

Ok, Thanks every for the help, we only have one or two more things to track down and then I'm golden:

Ok, after looking at this pic that bit of wiring HAS to be the coolant level sensor:

That part your finger touches looks like the alternator plug to me! It's fat and there's a clip on it to strap it onto the alternator. My $0.02.

Sam you're right on the coolant level. I was looking at the wrong loom, the one that sits on the inner fender going toward the front instead of the one on the fire wall.

The fuelfilter water sensor connector is GREY, the heater is the BLACK.

Image

The MT has a temp indicator light on the dash but I see no sensor in the parts list. So thats backup switch and the T case position sensor. The speedo sensor is fitted in the rearaxle.

And this...

Image

can it be this?

Image

On the MAF..it does give a part number but by 7 says 'not required'??

Image

>Now for that big grey connector, I think it's the glowplug connector but cannot say for sure. Let me check.

Its definately not the fuel pressure connector. the temp sensor and this other connector cannot both be plugged in with the one connected to the fuel pressure plug.

Ok so I checked: the big grey connector must be the glowplug feed, fat wires go from it to the fuse and relaisbox.

Ok copy that, its the relay glow plug relay connector.
