Nope. He was a criminal. Reported to the Postal Inspectors and everything.
He failed at business and used people's deposits to keep his personal life afloat. He also lied and said all the bumpers were built but then they were stolen.

The guy is a POS.

It's a shame too, his bumper was the best one out there. Now with ARB stopping production of bumpers for the KJ, there's not a reliable company worth buying a bumper from.

Bumper looked ok I guess , but trying to bolt one up was a PITA compared to any other bumper I have ever installed.

I found this bumper pretty easy to install if you have a good set of swivel sockets. Too bad that he messed things up. He should have just sold the design to someone who could have made them.

Geez, do we have to resurrect this thread? This was dark period in LOST history.

I worked with the guy on his second bumper (the one I put on my beloved KJ), and I really felt like he was going to be a great KJ vendor. I still find it hard to believe that he intentionally ripped anyone off...but the evidence sure points that direction. The story about bumpers getting stolen was pretty far-fetched.
