Ok Ladies and Gents,

We have one LOST member that needs help with a Tom Woods SYE and driveshaft conversion (that being me), two Mid Atlantic LOST members that need lifts installed, and we have one displaced NYC boy who wants his boulder bars installed. Give me dates and I will see if we can get the ol' garage openned up for a PARTY!!! Locatin will be Blairstown NJ, just seconds away from the Water Gap! Time, I like starting between 9 and 10 am, and I kick everyone out at 6:00pm whether your done or not! BYOF and drinks, I supply the coffee and tea, as well as water.

Yes I know Thanksgiving and Christmass is upon us, but it gets too cold in Jan and Feb. for install parties!

Al

PS: if you never have been here to "do" a lift party its fun, and educational, and the wood burner only increases the heat in the garage 10 degrees over ambient. And my car lift has not come in yet. (I guess I should pay for it or something).

Oooh. I've always wanted to see what's involved in lifting a jeep. I can help turn some wrenches or hold something up too! I may be able to swing just about any weekend but Dec 3-4.

Hey Al-If this gets confirmed-I still want that gas tank skid! I cant make the meet and greet, so this may be another chance!

Yea! I left Paragon, a little while ago, just wasn't feeling myself (no comments!) and went home to rest up. The guys were talking about getting together one Saturday soon to work on the Libertys. Dave you're invited too, and we can install the skid. If you have a hitch, it takes about 1/2 hour to install, without the hitch 15 mins.

If anyone just wants to watch, or pass the tools....come. Once we get a firm date, it will be posted.

I hope to see everyone on the 3rd.

Al

WEEKEND B4 CHRISTMAS???

BTW, AL, the tires are great! I love them. Thanks for being so cool. Big difference right away. I knew you can get the New Yorker out of the city but you can't get the Noo Yawkuh out of him! :P

Hey Al,

You missed a fun afternoon. Just got home myself. Mike will have to give you the update on what trails we did. I just followed. Ask Chris about the tree.

I was thinking about times I can be avalable. How about Sunday after the meet and greet? We can make a weekend out of it. Or If you want help with your mods next weekend. I can come up in Sunday. Even if we can't get to mine I could still help.

Let me know

Jason

Well, after turning on the race, around 3:30 I decided to rest my eyes, well at 6:00 I woke to the dinner bell. So much for my afternoon! Sounds like there will be some interesting stories coming out after this weekend ride!

We can try for the Sunday after the meet and greet. That will be Dec. 4, is this ok with everyone?

The only problem will be the installation of the shock mounts on Mike's and Chris's Jeeps. Man I wished I had a mig or tig welder! And Santa if you reading this a plasma cutter would be nice too!

Al

hey Al,

You sure are a machine, Al. First the meet and then a lift party NEXT DAY.

We're not worthy! We're not worthy!

See you then.

BTW, does anyone know what happened to the OEM tranny skid thread that was on here before?

Hey fellas, i'm not sure if i'll be able to make it that weekend, but i'll let you know in a bit. I'm only 17, so i'm no good for beer runs, but i'm pretty good at figuring stuff out and always eager to learn. I'm interested in doing a lift pretty soon, and if i can convince my dad that it's worth it i may have one on the way by Dec. 3 ::fingers crossed:: If you guys need another wrench turner/shop hand, let me know. And BTW, i have a few electric radiator heaters lying around my house somewhere so let me know if you think they'd be helpful. Oh, i also need an address since i live in Oceanport (near long branch/ red bank/ middletown, etc.) Anyone know how long of a drive that would be, i may need to stay at a hotel to make it on time :-P. Or i could always just sleep in the Jeep...Let me know what the deal is and i'll see if i can make it (as if you need one more nosey nose around the shop).

I'm in for a two day event. Don't know about the wife though. I'm sure she will do it as long as there is a place for her to get out of the cold.

So you dropped the "MR." huh? Where you been? I called a couple time last year and even PM'd you dude. Hope all is well. How is mom?

Anyway lets talk. I'll PM my number again. I am "shocked" (darn I crack myself up) that lift isn't on yet. Did you ever get the BOGGERS?

For everyonel else, PLEASE feel free to bring your partners. Last time at JeepinAl's, Talon brought his gf(now wife) and I brought my bro and they had a ball laughing it up watching us work.

Ok Boyz and gurls,

We have another lift, question to all that will be coming on out, can we do three lifts on a Sunday? Some of you will be driving a good distance, please let me know. Our record is 2.5 lifts that one Saturday, we started at 10:00 and ended around 5:30.

I need some input on this one. I will also need some help to do three lifts, so I will need at least two of you to be ready to install a lift. (Chris, Edgar, Mike??) I will also need a head count on everybody coming for the visit.

I understand some of you will be following back up this way after the meet and greet, to stay at a local hotel. The Days Inn is fairly cheap at exit 4, but noisey. The are several hotels on the PA. side off of 80 that around 15 mins away. The next closet hotel/motel is a good distance into NJ (east of me).

Al

As any good DH, I check the family to-do calender that hangs at my eye height, so there is no excuse on my part for screwing up the schedule. Well I come to find out that the school concert (not written on the calender) is Dec 4, and both kiddies are in it.

WELL! The fecal matter has hit the oscillating blades in the Handy household tonight guys. (boy sleeping in that garage is going to be cold)

So, I need to stay married for a couple of more years, at least to my daughter turns 18. (4 more years, it's going to difficult!) To do that, I will need to cancel the 4th. Can we do it on the 10th, or 11th?

Please forgive me ladies and gents!

Let me know if the following week is ok?

Battered and beaten,

Al

As one that knows the arts of fecal matter fan-dodging...I can honestly say "Don't worry about it. I understand."

Unfortunately for me, I will be away that weekend but possible late Sunday. Well afternoon anyway. (I remember the 6PM rule).

The weekend after that I am KOOL & the GANG.

Well, AFAIK the 10th or 11th works for me, but prefferably the 11th, since i usually work on Saturdays. It actually may end up working out for the better as my dad only put the order in for my Frankenlift a few minutes ago. Hopefully we will hear from them sometime tomorrow and they will get it shipped out. I love early Christmas presents :D

Hey Al I completely understand.

I will check on the dates at work tomorrow. If I can that weekend, it will have to be Sunday the 11th.

Al, I love reading your posts. You funny. Ha ha.

I have one question for you all, what are you doing with the rear shock mounts? Are you relocating them or someting?
