Well boys, after weeks of searching for new skins for my moab rims. I finally did it. I ordered my 245/75/16's Firestone Dest A/t's and beat my pinchers down today. Oh yea after a few drinks!   It looks good but it is not tomorrow yet and I am still have not sobered up LOL.

PS. the skins will be here tomorrow and I plan on getting then mounted tomorrow night or tuesday morning.

Good stuff, I rubbed some chalk on my wheel wells to see where it was rubbing, looks like i have some pinch weld rubbing too. I was going to trim it...plugged the dremel in, and its broken. I was really angry after that so the trimming ended up not happening.

Make sure you get some pictures up so I can see how much better mine looks...Uh...I mean so I can see your new wheels  Hopefully you aren't at the tire shop for 3 hours like I was.

No need for power toolz. I used a razer knife to cut out the pinch mold and once it was exposed, I took my AX/Sledge Hammer combo and hit the pincher about 6 times and it was FLAT!

Then I took my heat gun from my HVAC tool box and re molded the peice into place.

When I get my wheels and tires on, I will see if I have any other rubbing. If so, more trimming. If not then YAHOO!

I was gonna do it with a utility knife but at that point I was just pissed cuz my Dremel was broken. On bright side...Dremel website says max price to do a repair on my model is 32$. Trimming will just have to wait a few weeks now until I'm back home. I'll just have to be careful in the meantime and not turn so sharply.

How much do those heat guns go for?

I have seen them for about 30 beans. Mine was about 200. I used mine for HVAC so I needed one that was good and will work when I needed it
