and GEEZ    that what I stated yes you need them , just as crucial and for the same reasons as the rear, on each end you have springs, when springs compress too much you have what they call stacking, when that occurs it is a bad thing so extended bumpstops are needed. Its interesting on this forum this gets talked to death with people questionong if they need them or not and on other forums that I have been on for other makes its just part of the routine conversation, no one questions why , cause they know they need them

Not trying to be a *** about it just general observations

so how come there is never any mention of commercial rear bump stops? just hockey pucks and rubber mallet heads? you would think you could buy rear bumpstops with all mounting hardware included too.

you can, :? hockey pucks and rubber mallets work just the same and give you more money for other things

Also sometime just go check out other lift systems for Wranglers, any model of the Toyotas, any make or model and the good lifts will either have bumpstops included or will be available. They are not mentioned to us KJers due to most never , ever even pull off into the grass in the side yard!

Good deal !! Fast service for sure! I haven't been in there for years I need to stop in and see whats new with them!
It will not take you all weekend, so you will still have time for a honey do list since it's Mothers Day weekend!

True, unfortunately there isn't a 'honey' for a 'honey do' list anymore but yeah, it should not take long (I will probably do the diff collar finally too...)

You all convinced me to put them in with my new springs and shocks.
Here is what seems to be the best, any further suggestions?

http://www.trailquest.com/teraflex/KJ/s ... l#bumpstop, thanks sidewayskj

http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/pr ... rod=9.9143, thanks 03kjsport

Anyone have other suppliers, ideas or thoughts?

I checked with All J Products who installed my CRD 2.5"Frankenlift I in Jan 2006.

The say I dont need front bump stops

see quote:

"Do I need some extended front stops, like the ones by terraflex? -- Nope...you don’t need extended bump stops in the front. There must be a post about this on some website because all of a sudden in the last day or so I've been getting tons of emails and phone calls about this... The answer is no, extended bump stops in the front are not needed. Can you pass that on if you got the wrong info from a website? :'"

FYI
