SAME HERE!

The post is closed.

Man this is really becoming a real big problem for all of us in the good old USofA and other countries.

This closing of lands is actually putting us down. This efects all of us on here.

Just think about it guys and gals, We are not doing bad things like drugs, killing people, and anyother thugful things. We are having fun and enjoying life and our wonderful world.

I really can not understand the real reason whey local and state gov'ts are doing this all over the place.

I know in my area it is being done for business and developments. BUt in other places it is being done for no reason.

I hope that we can all band together and fight for the use of our free world.

I agree with that completely, and that's why I take a minute to post an opinion on these. Think about it, if they close all the off-road parks, do you think for a minute off roaders are going to stop wheeling? Not on my planet. So, set aside some land, (and it's usually pretty rough places) and let people go to it! Lightly, though.

it just shows that nature conservationists are more organized in their lobbying efforts with the government. You want access to land than it's time to get organized and have your voice heard too. of course this is going to cost money so....... which mod will you give up buying to donate to the cause?

i did the virtual rally and most ppl were only from nc and tn...i know alot more ppl go to that place then that...relly it is seaming like everything will need to be private in order to have fun anymore...and i was told and i believe this...that the ppl who are against things are herd more because they are more likly to speak up about it...so why don't we speak up about how we don't like the ppl that have no idea what this sport is about??

if you have nothing to do w/ it...keep your mouth shut!!
i think i might get this as a bumper sticker

Well government interaction is good, but I am not holding my breath. I think we need to start thinking about making nice with private landowners and getting (via paying or earning) usage rights to land that is just laying around. That is if we want to have a future in the short/medium term. In the long term we can hope to get back usage of public lands, but that is going to require a sea change in attitude. In the short term it looks like these sensored word are going to keep winning. These are the same people that ban not only 4x4s, but mountain bikes and anything else that is not politically correct. It cracks me up that people are stupid enough to fall for some of their reasoning. The other day I saw a sign that had 4x4's, motorcycles and get this **bicycles** off limits. But horses were allowed. Retarded. If they get it the way they want, nothing will be allowed except fishing for congressional members and their special interest inner party friends and family.

In the east, we just do not have large tracks of public land that are basically without value to anyone who does not want to drive over it or set bombs off on it. Too many people fighting for too few acres here. Just my opinion, and my opinion only, but the west coast folks want our support to protect their access but don't really worry as much about ours. That is not an observation from this board at all, but it is a shame that it happens and I think it will ultimately hurt us all.

HAte to say it this way but.....

PUT UP OR SHUT UP!

JOIN Blue Ribbon Coalition, UFWDA, Your Local Club, Etc.

Then get involved in those groups land access fights as much as you can and spread the word AND Then do it some more! Double dog dare ya!

Know and understand Tread Lightly and encourage others to do the same.

Do not just sit and whine about losing your trails. FIGHT for them! I Guarantee the other guy is gonna have plenty of folks on their side to fight to close Your trails so are ya gonna just lie there and take it?

ooopsss.....just fell off my soap box......getting kinda lonely up there anyway...but I won't stop fighting and donating my $ to the fight.
