Troy,

Where can I find the extended brake lines for the 06+.

When I put on my HD's OME's i noticed the rear brakeline was a little "Strained." in fact I had to remover the caliper to get the spring on. I have been concerned about the lack of travel in the current OEM brakeline since.

Anybody making one?

I have 12,000 on this 07 and don't wanna rig one.

Thanks.

Jeepin by Al sell the extended brake lines - http://jeepinbyal.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=6 - $200ish.

All J has had a brake line relocation "bracket" sold with their Frankie Kits for the 06's - http://www.boulderbars.com/frankenlift.htm - $30. It was a pretty simple piece of steal as TJKJ described above.

Hey Drybones, I'm down for a group buy if we got some people. Nova Jeepers, and Off Camber Crawlers, will help us with wrenching parties for install. Hardest part will assembly of the struts. Nova Jeepers is especially nice to KJers. Don't put any money into a roof rack just yet. A couple lost members, and myself are working on myself. You are going to be interested also. Give me a month and I will show you.

Going with the low mount Yakima Basketcase for now. If I don't like it I can always move it to the wifes 02 and buy another one (which I will probably end up doing) :D

it's easier just to make your own rear drop bracket, cheaper also. There is no need for extended front brake lines, the extended ones are only about a 1" longer, even on Tokyojoe's KJ when we hade the JBA 4" lift at full droop the stock lines had plenty of slack still in them. The rear does need a longer line of make a 3" spacer.I only went to the braided lines for the added brake pressure since they don't flex when you hit the brakes, and the extended rear line(I had a 3" spacer in the rear, worked just fine).

Also, will bump stops be needed with the medium setup? Anything ele you can think of just yell it out, I am new at this. Thanks in advance for the same old questions. 8)

Front
926 Springs
NS131 Struts
Rear

Rear OME HD Coils OME 948: $50 each from Rusty's off road

Total Price: $530 (doesnt include shipping and tax)

i think i win!

No you don't, Rancho 17505 from Jeepersandcreepers $75 each. That with the $40 OME N132's from Rusty saves: $52.

What can I say....I'm Dutch.

I put in an inquiry to a local dealer about the OME medium lift for my 2005 and received a response stating that I should only be using the light setup if I am not adding any addtional weght like a bull bar or ARB bumper. They even quoted and atached documentation from ARB about this. Sound right or have things changed? Anybody wants to see the document let me know and I can cut and paste a copy here or email it to you.
Still searching....

The ARB documentation has been around since day one, no new news there, but since many have done it, ride is fine, no worries, who do you want to beleive. They set standards we take those and make them better. I have almost 50,000 on mine with HDs that are suppose to be with heavy bumper, winch etc, and I only have the bumper. Just depends on what you would want but I would go at with mediums if you are never going to get a bumper etc. You will not beleive the ride

Got my shocks today and the coils are coming. Still need bump stops which I'll try to locate later tonight. I got My ranchos from amazon.com 259.34 shipped. Got HD springs from torasport.com for 317.80 shipped. Did I do well or did I miss a better deal? oh well too late. Any suggestions for bumpstops?

Fronts: Teraflex bump stops.

Rear: hockey pucks or rubber mallet slices glued on or bolted on. (I used polyurethane glue and they are still on).

Hang on, I'll see if I can find a phone # for Teraflex

 Quick one guys,
I've installed Frankenlift a year ago, and it's time to replace the front strut and the rear shock !!

OME front strut part No. (NS130)
OME rear shock Part No. (132L)

Now... any difference between OME 132L and OME 132

coz I didn't find 132L at ARB catalog.

Thanks

132L stands for LONG TRAVEL. they are the same except they are longer travel for lifted suspensions. Other can chime in, but i think if you get these you WILL need new bumpstops and maybe even brake lines and these will add to your articulation and increase the flex or your rearend. You may not want that, depending on how you use your KJ.

Also if you do not disconnect the rear sway bar, you will not be able to realize any gain in using the 132L's as the rear sway bar helps to restrict the articulation. By disconecting the rear sway bar you MIGHT stand the chance of over stressing the ball join on the rear control arm with the increased articulation. I have the 132's in the standard length on my 07. Love em and have had no need for the extended articulation, yet.

The part number for the front struts for OME MD are conflicting between oldmanemu.com and rocky-road.com  on the OME site they're saying the OMENS131 is HD (not MD) while rocky-road.com...when you add a MD front strut to the cart, the part number is OMENS130. (I'm not ordering from either of these sites..i'm going with ok4wd http://www.ok4wd.com/index.php/catalog/ ... spension1/ ) However, do they have the incorrect strut part listed for MD? They list: 926/947 NS131/N132

Go straight to the source:
http://www.arbusa.com/accessorize_your_rig.php
NS 130 is light duty
NS 131 is for medium or heavy duty applications, depending on the spring choice.

Ok so the NS131 issue is solved...thanks. however, looking at the ARB link u provided (http://www.arbusa.com/accessorize_your_rig.php ) ...They're listing OME948 for the MD load..which contrasts ok4wd's listing of OME947 ...hmm. wtf :? all i want is the MD..but the part numbers tend to vary..
