When the KJ was on a lift at a garage I measured from the top shoulder of the tire to the center of the flair. After I got home I remeasured it and came up with 3.5" change. Is that about right? A 3.5" drop. The sway bar was on.

Sounds about right to me. My flares go from 35" to about 38" or so before a tire comes off the ground.

I always wondered how far they would drop down so that is why I checked it. But I didn't replies know if it should be more or less. Thanks for the replies.

I've counted 4" of droop with the front end on jack stands... It's the rear suspension travel that always impressed me.

That was with the Franky II and the tires were a little bigger than stock. The rear sway bar has been off for months so it was off then also. Below is how it looks now.

I guess I never measured or looked to see how much drop mine has, have only jacked it up maybe 150 times so far and haven't paid any attention   But if I was guessing that sounds about right
