Hello, why are people attacking poor SAM about the way SAMCO is handling things? He is the one who iniciated all this and you can now buy ( or in a short while ) turbo hoses that will never brake / rip or leak!

Some respect and a simple 'thank you' would be enough.

As Kelticknight already said, for any '01-'04 CRD owner we put our effort in this too and SAMCO is working on a proto type.

I agree with you. Thanks to Sir Sam and the others that have worked on this.
I disagree on the way Samco has handled all this. They want customers and here
we are, ready to buy and nothing still in the product lines for us.
two or 3 hundred sets of hoses for them is some serious money for them.
I feel that Sam has done very well with them and that those he has talked with
has had the usual management problems on top of them.
I never say it like it should be said, so overlook any thing above.
Thank you Sam and others.
Thank you Techs at Samco.
Samco management, you bad.

Yes, I did the usual search today to see if they have any hoses for us. Not yet.

Just my 2 cents worth. Sorry for ever typing this again.
Steve

This stuff takes time. Their business is not to drop everything and push a few hundred custom hoses out to an enthusiast community. Patience, guys.

So, obviously Samco makes a good product, but isn't it time to cut the cord? Could we not engage another silicone tube maker (I'm sure there are lots out there...)?

Out of all the silicon tube makers out there Samco was the one one who bothered to reply to us. Samco was very good and worked with us.

Right now the problem are the vendors here in the US not giving me the time of day.

Speaking of which I will make another round of phone calls now and see if I get us any closer.

I have and he did not get back to me on that.

Also, I am still waiting for the promised callback groupbuy pricing, sure it'll be here in an hour, 4 hours ago.

Sorry smacker, not yet, there might be temporary repairs you can do or another member might have a hose you could use temporarily.

Which hose do you need?

The boost hose on the air box side. the hose between the intercooler outlet and the intake inlet ruptured first. It ruptured at 45K not 24K as previously quoted. The Mopar #55037729 or samco#TB2459 is the one I need. Thanks for the quick response. I'll try finding a replacement tonight on the web. Thanks again..

BTW: I am amazed at the expertise and fellowship I am finding in the Forums. I wish I had found L.O.S.T. a couple of years ago!! :P

Where is your break? it might be possible to limp along untill we can actually get the hoses.

The break is about 1" from the hose clamp on the turbo outlet about 4 to 5" long. Patching might be my only option it seems for now. I'm not getting much headway searching the net @ 2130 hrs. Will try to patch and see what turns up with the group buy. SMM

What you might consider for the patch would be a new piece of hose to put on the turbo outlet, then get a 90* elbow PVC? copper? and then mate that to your existing hose after to split.
