I've read here about Scorpion, Edge & the InMotionUSA modules/ecm tune. I really want to do the InMotion eco tune but $350 is a bit steep, and haven't seen any posts about mpg improvement, since everyone seems to go with stage 2. Because most of my driving is in town (no towing) I'm not worried about losing a mpg or two on highway because of the efficiency we are getting already. Also I like the idea of the ECM itself having basically the euro specs, and I hope to do a Suncoast TC in the future (60K, I'm @ 29K now).
My main question is with something simple like: Striker FE Diesel Fuel Economy Module 2005-2006 Jeep Liberty 2.8L CRD: p/n 64275
http://tunertools.com/products.asp?cat=171 for $232 is there a big difference/problem with tricking the fuel rail pressure sensor into running the diesel a leaner air/fuel ratio? I'm just not crazy about the module and the caution/suggestion of undoing this mod when taking it to the dealer, whereas the Inmotion tune is much more stealth.
I have been running ORM and plug in prior to service.
