This is why it is so important to find a Chrysler dealership that actually knows what they are doing - which is rare because after 2 Chrysler cars, it has been my experience that most of them don't. A good indication of their current (and past) state of affairs.
The replacement (and inexcusable rip-off) of any of those parts is not necessary. One of several moronic former dealerships I used (Nalley in metro-Atlanta) first replaced my SAT tuner. Wrong. Then the antenna. Wrong. Then tried to tell me that since I didn't buy my Mopar Nav Radio from them, THAT must be the problem. So the problem would just disappear if I bought a 1200 replacement from them. Wrong, STUPID and kiss my stupid.
At least it was all under warranty.
As usual, I had to hit the net and find the TSB myself - which is the case with most Chrysler dealers I visit for most problems, diesel related or not. Can you tell this is going to be the last Chrysler car I buy?
All they need to do for this fix is replace an antenna connector on the SAT Tuner in the rear tailgate. That's it. The TSB has a lot of diagrams and lables that make it hard to copy / paste. PM me for the pdf and I can send it to you.
Here is the TSB and fix (about $4 dollars or less, in parts):

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The vehicle operator describes extreme static over the satellite radio audio (only when in
the satellite mode) to the point of almost completely covering the intended audio. The
static occurs at vehicle start-up, or the first time the radio is put into the satellite mode on a
key cycle. The static will last the entire key cycle. This issue is completely intermittent, and
in the next key cycle, operation may go back to normal.
DIAGNOSIS:
Due to the intermittent nature of the condition, demonstration of the issue is difficult. If the
vehicle operator description is similar to the Symptom/Condition explained above, perform
the Repair Procedure.
