So over the last few weeks, in the morning, when my wife or I start the jeep and back out of the drive then put it in drive, occasionally(5-6 times) it just sits there then finally it will "engage" for lack of a better term after a few seconds. the petal kind of feels mushy like it is somewhere between drive and neutral. Just past 31K. It is not cold here, maybe 65-75 in the morning. What do you guys think?

Jeremy

Change fluids and filters is where I would start, if you have not already done that. Might be something caught up in one of the transmission valve bodies, or a filter(s). Not sure if you have one or two filters in there.

Did you get the service bulletin performed for wrong filters installed in the transmission? The details are posted on LOSt. You can check to see if yours was included by crawling underneath and look at a stamped number on the trrans.

jdorris,
If you had the F37 done make sure the transmission is filled to the proper level. The Mopar instructions called for less transmission fluid than required on the refill.
