a clay bar works wonders

I do mine twice a year then wax it right after, you will not believe how smooth is it when done, & you won't believe how much road grime is actualy on your paint

believe me it's DEFINITLY worth doing

Yea, claying before you polish/wax is always a great idea. Just remember it will remove anything on the surface, including wax so make sure you always wax after claying.

I washed mine today and it had been a whole to weeks(which is longer than normal) since I washed it last. Its the most expensive thing I have(besides college) so why not take care of it?

I've never used Meguires Color-X. I generally use Mother's products, especially on my Harley's.

Claying is a great tool, just be careful if you've never used this technique before. I've seen too many people destroy their paint / finishes.
