I sent some shots.

I ended up with a ziptied washer fluid bottle moved up a bit. It's the best thought I had a the time and it was worked for what 7 months now? so it might just stay that way!

hey that looks even better with the factory brush gaurd.. Nice photoshop job and the bumper looks good too. Maybe after new tires and life i will cut mine....

first car was an 84 mercury capri...i had to hold the brake with one foot and keep it runnin with the other if i put it in netural it would die and i would have to wait for a bit before it would start again. so if it died at a stop light i had to push it outta the street......never did figure out the bugs in it.....

Is it a good thing or a bad thing that I have only had my KJ for 6 months and I am considering cutting it up? I guess I already have trail damage and mud on the inside...
I am 18 and live in a rich town-a buddy of mine drove an M3 in highschool. I had a 1986 6.2 diesel chevy half ton pickup 4x2. 20 year old diesel with 2 wheel drive and an open diff-quite possibly the worst vehicle for minnesota winters...I miss it but I love my KJ and no my dad didn't buy it. The only help I got was a cosigner.

Oh HELLO of course it is a good thing to be wanting to cut up on your KJ! Let us know when you do, so I can welcome you to the dark side.

If I keep following the crazy TJs and YJs on 35s around here I won't have to cut my bumpers, they'll just rip the rest of the way off. :)

My rear is onlly attached at one point near the middle and most of the passenger side.

Here's the cut bumper in serious action. Nice to not have it scraping on the rocks and etc.

[quote="JJsKJ"] sounds like some spoiled kids on here. I had to walk up hill both ways in the snow.......... then my 1st vehicle was a dog sled w/ two old dogs.......

My dogs were so old they rode in the sled and I had to pull them both ways up the hill.

Matt,

Looks like you lost your right rear wheel in that first picture. You should've posted that picture for the RoM contest. I am sure that would've won (unless this was a very recent run).

Did you scratch your fender flare on that run?

lilmatty.

Awesome!...

Looking at the pictures, I'd say it's time to Rhino Line the bumper and flares. :D

David: You like that flex eh?

But yes I made quite a gouge in my right flare and lower door panel. But not there. It was a rock I didn't see or feel early in the drive. Yeah, maybe Rhono lining is a solution. Not worrying about it is the other solution. Coulda been worse: coulda happened in a shopping mall. That woulda really hurt.

But, man, I tell you, approaching a tall rock without your lower bumper in the way and just having the tire just crawl on up it is really cool and exactly the reason for the cuts.

shak,
better keep that bottle. That thin piece of steel that covers the washer bottle on the ARB bumper isn't bullet proof. The install was less than an hour. Now there's nothing hanging under the front to get smashed.

Why not get a set of Hella 500 fogs and mout them on top of the bumper? That would solve your fog light issues. Or you could go all out and get the 05 fogs and mount them.

I used to have a 1983 AMC Eagle SX4 fastback, welded the front and rear diff's spray painted it flat black and put fleet farm mud terrains on it (33's with the help of a sawzall) They are sweet machines-needs a low range though
