the bumper looks great no matter what, i was afraid that it would look somewhat out of place on an unlifted jeep, kinda disproportional... like if you put a 2.5 inch lift on and leave the stock tires

it looks like it prolly b/c of the buldge at the bottom of your doors, something that the older KJs dont have

Jsc7002 is right. The older KJ's don't have the bulge at the bottom of the door. I prefer that they stick out more since I need to climb on them with my icey ski boots to get to the ski rack.

It's just the plastic trim that attaches to the bottom of the door sills. I'd love if someone had a picture of an 05/06 with them off. I'm curious what if it'll just look like an 04 without them.

Dan

The metal may be the same shape but, it's got some ugly holes in it. Not sure it's completely painted, either.

mine (04) had that one little strip and I pulled it off at 2000 miles to keep the crap from collecting up in there. I also at the same time undercoated up in the holes and painted it again to make sure so you could always do that. Of course I love tearing factory plastic crap off of mine and drilling holes in it
