:x First big snow of the year (which will most likly be the only one), the wife lights her liberty up and is pumped to use the 4x4 but when she cleans the snow off the windshield the driver wiper blade breaks in half :x . So 5 inches of snow on the groud and she's hacked cause she can't drive...Time to go back to the steel wiper carriers.

At least I got to use my 4x4 :D

lol funny, ive never seen a wiper break in half. Mine do great to clear the snow off. I usually clean it off by hand though, then use the wipers to get the rest.

It broke where it attaches to the arm. I'm cleaning my truck off and I hear her ask me to look at the wiper cause it "looks funny". I've never seen it either but I figured it was best not to ask how it how it happened. I know it has something to do with a long scraper with a brush on it and being blond...

Ah! She hit it with the scraper. No wonder.

That's nothing. I was giving my girlfriend (who happens to be blonde) crap because she broke her windshield while putting wiper blades on last winter. Then I was installing wiper blades last winter and the spring in the wiper arm pulled the blade assembly down just hard enough that it cracked the windshield in '86 half ton chev. 20 years of farm abuse and it still had the original windshield. One month with me and do a routine thing as installing wiper blades in -30 degree weather and it cracks. Man, does crow ever taste terrible.
