The OME shocks and springs will only give you the 2.5" lift that everyone is talking about (check out www.arbusa.com to verify this). Make sure before you purchase an "OME" suspension kit that you verify that all the parts ARE OME. Some dealers will use different springs to give an added lift and still try to pass it off as a full OME suspension. A quick call into the company will answers any questions.

different springs ???????......why???? there are none better than OME,  only other company that really sells springs for the KJ is Rustys, Rocky Road supposedly sells OME , plus a lot of other dealers that we know sell OMEs for sure,
but with some massaging you know we are getting more than 2 or 2.5 out of them

The 927's provide 1.5" of lift to a rig that has 150 plus pounds of weight on the nose.
The 926's do the same for about 100 added pounds
the 925's are 1.5" lift springs for a stocker.
790's are 1.5" for a heavy diesel

Also keep in mind that OME springs are designed to run on an OME strut. Quinn and I found out awhile back that our spring perch is actually a little higher on the strut than the Rancho... so you net a little more lift with an OME strut vs. a Rancho strut when using our springs.

Yes, you can get more net lift if you put the heavy springs on a truck that doesn't have extra weight, but we won't warranty them at that point. Company's like All J or RRO's use our springs with other parts to make kits like the FL or the Rockfather. They then assume the warranty at that point because they're using them out of our Engineered specs. Keep that in mind when you're buying them. We've never had a problem with either of them, but every now and then it's good to get the word out on that.

Take care!

But what model year did this measurement come from , still trying to determine that, as you get more lift than what you are saying you do ?????? Been enough on here that have bought them to know that

Hmm...so maybe I should remove the .75" spacers off the assembly??? You guys think it might be too much pre-tension on the 927? I've been pondering this after I installed the lift. What do you guys think? Heck I may just order some OME struts as well if I remove the spacers...then I'll have some month-old ranchos to sell...
