I haven't really taken my KJ off-road too much yet and I'd really like to come to this event as it's pretty darn close to me (even if my L.O.S.T. membership hasn't finished processing yet :P) but I have to work on the 26th! I'd like to attend one in the near future if that would be all right, though!

Man I wish I could make that but I'll be away that weekend. Looks like the next time I'll be able to get out won't be until Sept or Oct :x

Have fun and this time keep your strap hooked up before you go in the water

But not having the strap hooked up first makes for much funnier pictures...

You are more than welcome to come anytime you can. I'll try and get another run scheduled for the end of August.

Hey, it's not about the miles per gallon, it's about the smiles per gallon :)

If it's on the 27th, I should be able to make it. It's only only free day for the next month!

So I don't have a lift, skids, or any recovery options... I'm working on getting some custom front recovery hooks made to work in conjunction with my Grille Guard, but I don't think I'll have them done by the 27th... I was eventually going to get a Trailer Hitch w/ Tow Hook... Should I get one before this run or is the likelihood of being stuck not great enough to warrant the $200?

It's not a good idea to go wheeling with no recovery points no matter what the terrain...

My friend john from NY will be joining us if you don't mind. He drives a TJ with a mild lift and 33s

 If there's a way to be stuck, I find it. I have vowed to avoid any puddles of unknown size, however. I will also now be able to air down so that should help a lot.

Looks like I might not be coming out after all. Unfortunately my trailer hitch isn't installed entirely at this point and I don't feel 100% comfortable going wheeling without a lift or skids at the very least. I don't want to be the one who has to turn around the entire group every five minutes because I'm not willing to go through a certain area. Hopefully I can get together with JerseyKJ and BeepBeepBeepJeep at another point in time for a smaller trail run. Thanks for the invite anyways, guys! Hopefully I get my KJ up and running ASAP for off-roading.
