Okay all: For those living in the Colorado area (and for those that want to come long distance), let's get a meet and greet lunch going. We can hash out plans for getting the club going, show off our rigs, and get better acquainted.

For those that want a T-shirt, we can distribute them at the get together also....if we hear from Jetson......Jetson.....Jetson....Jetson

Plan for:

When: Saturday, 17 December at 12 Noon
Where: Hops Restaurant Bar & Brewery 14285 W Colfax Av
Lakewood, CO 80401 - 3211 (303) 216-2469

4. RespectMyLibertay *Last minute scratch - put on Injured Reserve for this event) hahaha!
5. Rock Lizard
6. SkyJump (maybe)
7. Kugellager

I want to go, but I'm not too familiar with Denver area, so I might just hitch a ride with one of the Castle Rock fellows, if they're going.

How about :

Hops Restaurant Bar & Brewery 14285 W Colfax Av
Lakewood, CO 80401 - 3211
(303) 216-2469

It is located at the Colorado Mills Mall and a John Elway Jeep is just up the road from there (~1/2 mile).

John Elway Chrysler Jeep West 16300 W Colfax Ave
Golden, CO 80401 - 3855
(303) 278-0101

Sounds great to me but I am extremely biased as it is only about 4 miles from my house.

I'm just trying to be fair. I will have to drive 35-45 minutes to get there myself. I know of some places near the Lithia Jeep near me but it is farther for those up in Ft Collins/Longmont/Greely/Boulder, to drive. Probably closer for those driving from Castle Rock/Co Springs, though.

I don't know anything about how well that John Elway dealership is with KJ's but we can definitely turn some heads and talk to them and change their minds. My Lithia dealer has been great so far.

That's where I bought my KJ. They usually have a lot in stock but I have no idea how they are w/4x4 stuff...and they are by all those main roads I mentioned in the other thread.

Maybe I missed this, but why are we looking for dealers close by? David, if you need an oil change just say so!

hahaha.....just would be cool if we made a group trip to a dealer, not out of the way, and grab their attention about LOST and LOST Rockies.

Maybe we should look at a day when we cruise around to a bunch of dealers in a big group and promote LOST and LOST Rockies.

I do have 500 miles to go before my oil change is due....LOL!

That might actually be something we should do. Maybe we can get Jeep dealers to give out our web addy or some sort of business card to those interested in offroading their Libertys.

I drive by that place to and from work every day...it's one of the larger Jeep dealers in the metro area. When I bought mine, they had at least 40 Libertys to choose from. Maybe we can design some sort of LOST promotional flyer that we can get Jeep to include in their new owners package....

We may get better results from promotion thru "dealer Hopping" if we coordinate with the sales managers/owners first.... We don't want to get chased off with pitchforks now do we...

I don't think Tokyo was suggesting we storm the dealership so to speak...but I agree we should ask them first.

Here is a link to Mapquest showing both locations in question. You may or may not have to refresh the screen a few times to get the map to appear.

Hops Restaurant to John Elway Jeep

Where is Jetson? Haven't seen him post lately. Need to know if he can make it and bring T-shirts.

Hey Kugellager,

Can you stop by the John Elway Dealership and ask them if it would be okay for us to "visit" and talk shop about our KJ's to their staff, show off our rigs, and perhaps answer questions for potential new KJ owners? During our meet and greet lunch on Saturday.

Can someone make some LOST Rockies business cards and someone do a few quality flyers? Things we can hand out at the dealership.

Who else can make it to the Saturday lunch?

Dave, I'll do that today after work and post their answer here tonight.
