Depending on the lenses on your Hella 500FF won't the 100 W bulbs melt them?

The lenses are made of glass. I have the H3 100w Bulbs in the Hella 500 Pencil beams. The housings are the same size and made of plastic. The lenses get hot to the touch in the middle but not hot enough to crack or melt the plastic at the edges. The glass lenses only get warm at the edges.

I did some testing before I did this (see link in my signature) and everything went very well.
