Or you could spend $50 per wheel and get some Cragar Soft8 black steelies.

Heck, I'm going to have a set for sale soon. I have a set sitting in the garage and another in the mail coming to me. Is the KK the same bolt pattern as the KJ?

Id be interested in them also depending on the size they are

I am actually taking a ride over to http://www.OK4WD.com today to see about possibly getting a lift with some black wheels. I want to price this option and the powder coating option, then make a decision.

Not good news on the lift . . . they have a few kits that will work with the '08 liberty, but he said of the 20 they have done, 19 have come back with problems (blown shocks, CV's, etc.). He also said you can forget about any sort of wheelin'.

What is the biggest wheels you can put on a KK without a lift? Anyone want to post some links/pics with suggestions?[/quote]

Thats why every one said to say away from that lift system. The same thing was happening with kj's. Hopefully JBA will get the right brake lines and we can finish the 4 inch lift

Strangely enough, Tirerack only has one wheel in 16" for the 08+ Liberty. The "Nascar Hauler 2", by Victory Wheels. And, it only comes in black. Flat black.

$167 each.

I'm considering getting a set (5) just to have them powdercoated silver. lol..... cause honestly, I really don't like the OEM 16's.

I actually like the OEM 16" wheels, but I don't like seeing 95% of the new Liberty's driving around with the same wheels as me.

Gotta get something different. I wonder how the factory 17's would look painted black... :?:

Nick I am the same . . . I like the OEM's, but want something different. I have pretty much decided against the powdercoat option. I think it would look good, but I am worried about longevity. There are many options at http://www.quadratec.com . . . check em out.

if you powder coat them..your gana love them! i did the whole spray can method (about 50$ total) rather then powder coating to save money but dealers and mechanics all think i got them powder coated . i did gloss black on mine, minus the bolts and jeep cap, looks sick. But like daspes said if you go off roading their gana chip...mine did lol. im planning on touching them up this week though and maybe add a crimson or polished lip for added look.
I'll try and get pictures in asap, but right now i dont have my KK. A javelina hit me like 2 weeks ago ripping my left flare off and spidering my front bumper a little. luckily their fixing it as we speak :D

Yeah get some pics up STAT!!! Ha ha, I think it would help me visualize what mine would look like with powdercoated wheels. Very brave to go the spray paint route.
