Wish I was over east to get mine done too..lol, still waiting on the rear DTT. Did you get your stuff from the US mate or from Extreme motor sports in QLD? keep us all updated with the mods when they go in & how it performs.

Got the DTT's from DTS in Detroit, still waiting for a reply about the 4.1's and the install kits. Been a few days now and no response so I might have to send another email off Monday to see whats going on.

yes they are magic spanners

the end result it took most of the day as we had not done a full diff replacement before but it went smoothly the KJ survived a 80 k trip home with no clunks crunches or other front diff issues

and jag now has a 4wd KJ again

Well done lads. By the look of that old one I'd say one of those collars around the pinion casing might be a good idea.

I am impressed with your mechanical skillz.

What would that have cost you if you had a shop do that?

Thx for sharing.

While you were at it, did you extend the breather tube? Where does the standard one go to?

T'was a delightful day Arhhhh.

We should have thought ahead a little more and had those clevis rings to do the lift in the front whilst we had it apart. Then we could have popped in a 10mm packer in the rears and done a complete 10mm allround lift enhancement.

Now, whos up for doing a rear tri-link ball jopint replacement on mine..

How about one evening this week? What's the earliest you can quit work?

Will have to check on parts first, and see if I can press it in myself, otherwise it will have to be at Albion...
