I saw in the back of dash fuse box it had a spot for a rear fog light relay. I put a relay in I had but it did not engage when the fog light were on. I left it in there. When testing the set up to put auto head lights in to see if it would bother the BCM. With a 330 ohm resistor between terminal 4 and 5 of the light switch head lights go on when the light switch is turned on too the rear fog light relay turned on. My question is does anyone know what terminal is the output of the relay cannon plug and terminal number in the fuse box. European wiring diagrams might show it. Mitchell only shows the input to the relay.

The FSM should have the Export wiring diagrams in it, are you looking there?

The tail light assemblies are different
The dash switch to turn them on is different
I'm not sure if the wiring is there or not
The body controller needs to be told they exist (US spec doesn't have them so the circuit will never be energized)

I'm going to get a set of these,

just waiting until winter when I'll need them more often.

There is no dash switch for the rear fog light in the KJ. It is on the turn signal stalk just like on th eNeons, Calibers, 300's etc.

There is power there you just need to jumper the relay slot....

And if you are one of the unlucky people without the factor tow package, you can obtain power for your running lights using the wiring that already goes for the rear fog lights--and it is fused! Would have saved me a big hassle if I had known about it. Too many of us weren't told that you couldn't just plug in the adaptor for the wiring loom. It doesn't work that easy on some Jeeps. Some are missing the running light power and the brake controller wire (Big blue one)
