Suncoast T/C on order. The OEM T/C was shelled. Also needed a new shift cable. Someone used a zip tie to hold the connector on the shift cable together.

Looking forward to having a good T/C installed. Tried to talk the stealership into installing the transgo shift kit but they won't do it.

Thanks for everyones input.

I recommend the transgo kit. Since I install the kit in my rig, the trans seems to be shifting sooner and holding longer up the grades. This results in great fuel mileage of 30+ MPG on highway and 22 mixed driving. I know that summer has alot to with the improved mileage also.

I wish I knew how to do the transgo install myself. I don't so unless I find someone that knows how, my CRD will have to go without. Right now more mods will have to wait while I recover from the T/C cost.

Just in case anyone was wondering the OEM T/C is made at Chrysler Toledo Machine and the 545RFE is made at Chrysler Indiana Transmission Plant-1 (ITP-1).

Tranny fixed. Got to say I like the Suncoast T/C. Feels like more power gets to the ground.

Looking forward to seeing how many miles I can put on this T/C compared to the 75,000 that I put on the OEM T/C.

Thanks for everyone's help.
