No, I realize it is hard to have any idea of what I am talking about without knowing what the bumper looks like or how it fits.

There will be pics a plenty along with a complete step by step write up.

That's the part that would scare me away! If you get in a front end collision that hits that side at all you can pretty much kiss your front suspension goodbye! If the bumper covered the tires there would still be a good chance it would survive a collision.

Have you seen what is behind that front bumper? Do you know what the front bumper is made of. If you get in a crash, that bumper isn't going to save anything. All the bumper is going to do is get completely destroyed and it definitely won't stop anything from getting to your tire.

Got the new bumper mounted. Need to finish painting it over and that is that. Will finalize tomorrow.

Still waiting on my new turn signals though.

I'll do the unveiling at Slick Rock this weekend.

I did however post on a local site because the guy who hooked me up with his bumper to use for mock up wanted to see the goods. So if you can find it and somehow view the post... :wink:

Wow...I found it too...Thanks Google to and the pic-hosting site without having to register with the local4x4 site although mike or poke should go to the othertech forum topic and tell Kairo to just buy the $85 MOPAR trailer hitch wiring kit and install it himself rather than pay a shop to do it.

New bumper looks cool...more Jeep Willys like. The license plate really descripbes the ride with all those round light on the front... :wink:

Well after about 15 minutes of looking I still haven't found it. Almost every site that I found that Inc has registered with and actually posted... requires a password. Though in that time I have learned a lot about Mike in general. :shock:

I also painted the shackles red and gave the black a new coat as well. Turned out pretty much exactly like I hoped it would.

I am excited.

I bought the bumper pretty much as you see it. I just extended the arms out and used eight grade 8 bolts and washers to keep it in place. Pics will soon follow.
