Bag of charcoal would be a lot cheaper if you want burnt slag. LOL look inside the turbo. Finally burned all the oil out.

Lousy pics, but it looks to me like he blew a fuel line and it burned the engine down. Funny thing is, I drove my Jetta TDI almost 800 miles with a leaking high-pressure line washing the front of the engine off with fuel the whole way. Not a problem at all, the engine never got hot enough to self-ignite. Maybe the fuel sprayed onto the turbo housing?

Judging by his ebay store I don't think he ever owned a Liberty. His "other" Liberty parts are a badly damaged front bumper and a right mirror....
