Sure you can. The commander looks like an old Landrover discovery with that ridiculous raised roof and the KK looks like a discovery III.

I agree that the front end is just an afterthought on the Asian XJ.

I like the Commander ( ducking stones) for what it is. I think the KK is too much of an 8/10ths xerox and DC was just phoning it in. If the KK was first, then I'd be calling the Commander 12/10ths scale Liberty.

Thank god DC is gone.

If you must have the looks of an XJ, I think that the Patriot captured the spirit of what a modern XJ would look like. Making it nothing more than a tall economy car pretty much ruins it, though. See above comments re: DaimlerChrysler.
