2 things seem wrong to me..1st I have heard the liberty muffler/exhaust system to br very restrictive and 2nd I wonder what would happen to a nice liberty when wet oil and vapers hit the red hot cat converter. I just think a fire would start and travel up out of the connection.

You know...

An ideal solution might be to put a one-way valve in the tube and tap into the exhaust just before the CAT converter... that way, the cat could do it's job and burn off the hydrocarbon and also effectively deal with the smoke/smell.

The exhaust system is pretty free-flow, so I'd expect crankcase pressure to be sufficient to drive the stuff out and into the CAT.

Just a thought.

I also had the flattened end of roll tube. I got 5' of it and routed it
down the passenger side - straight down, and snuggled it into that
perfectly sized hole in the frame - I cut maybe 6" off it so you only
need about 4' - 4 1/2 '. I smell nothing. And it popped back to round
after heat from the engine compartment got to it.
I got this routing pattern idea from Eurekaboy, but he used a copper
downpipe. http://liberty.eurekaboy.com/ehm.htm

Takes ~1625*F to ignite Diesel fuel - raw oil is even higher - oxidizing convertor runs at exhaust gas temperature, avg 650*F - not much red at 650*F - that cremative idea works, until blowby vapors overload the city-driven only convertor as it begins to plug up with soot, just like the pre-mod intake manifold - takes frequent runs at hiway speeds to clear the soot outta the oc
