It is that time of year again!

Tower of Power - Toys for Tots #7

Oktober 19th at around noon-ish.

(Perkins memorial tower)

Meeting place: Perkins memorial Dr. Bear moutain state park. Exit 19 from palisades park way North and south.
After wards, the bear moutain Inn is having the Oktoberfest. There is a lot to do at the Bear moutain grounds. So if you have kids, bring em along.

Me my Wife Andrea and LIL MAN Devin are planning to spend the day in the area for the Oktoberfest.
Any one who has not been there, there is a zoo, lake, and picknick areas, walking trails and a trail over the bear moutain bridge.....

Starting line up: (Rough EST for now)

While I don't think this will effect me going, because, well this is almost in my backyard, my mom fractured her left hip on September 5th. Operated on the 6th. Put in a rehab center (ELANT) on the 11th. Left leg was noticeably shorter on the 14th. X-rays showed that left hip pop out of its socket.

She's now in St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, waiting for her blood to thicken up so that another hip surgery can take place. It then back to a different rehab center. (Hopefully Wingate at Dutchess).

So unless, she leaves the rehab center on the same day as this event, I should be able to make it.

Looks like so far we have a 1st date for OCT 19th sunday. we will start with that date first and see what happends.

Here is what I posted in the other topic.

I am in the middle of a mess with the new house and all, It feels like it has been going on for months and it actually has.
Anyway, I will have to play it by the ear, if I can finally move and settle, I will go, if not, I guess I will be out for that weekend as well.
We've gotta come up with something this year like a light trail ride or just shore visit, something.

Yea I was thinking that this morning myself.
It is never too quiet when a TFT comes up. we would have like 3 pages by now.

So far we have 5 rigs and 1 maybe

yea thats what I did, and also called a few of the guys.

Chris was saying that there is an Oktoberfest going on at the lodge a few miles down the road. Maybe we can hit that for some good eats and sudz.
