many have ordered and paid ..................FEW have got what they paid for,
just do a search on his bumpers so this does not turn into a 12 page essay on how business should be done.

I say forget about the bumper and buy what works an ARB!! Even though you don't like it its a great bumper, either that or find someone to build one for you. I have someone in MI who is looking at doing one for a test. But he hasn't started it yet

Short story - the only off the shelf bumper is ARB - everything else is custom - either build or shipping.

One of these days you're going to make me buy an ARB if you keep bringing it up and Hood keeps posting pictures.  And you're going to have to explain to my wife why I had an impulse buy.

My wife allows me to do anything I want to the Jeep within our budget. However, when she asks me what website I'm looking at (always Jeep related), or what I'm spending money on (also always Jeep related), I also get the  look and "I should have known." That said, she enjoys it almost as much as I do.

Only one time has she put her foot down about the Jeep and that was about the front bumper ... ARB or stock ... no other choices!

Ordering an ARB front bumper as we speak.

Hey Pete, the last time we talked you were thinking about doing the SFA...................................Have you brought that idea to the wife yet?  My wife put her foot through the floor regarding the SFA idea. She said, "If you want a SFA, then get a real Jeep and buy a Wrangler!" So I said, "Fine, then we'll buy a 4 door JK." And she said, "Well, that makes more sense."

dieselenthusiast: Hope it works out for you. Myself, I hate the way they ride. The new 4 door one is better but it still isn't as good as a KJ. But after all I am 61 years old! With a bad neck, shoulders, back and legs I need comfort!!!

Don't worry, we’re still keeping the KJ. :D I traded in my wife’s 2004 TJ unlimited and she hasn't forgiven me yet, so this is why we are adding the JK to the family of Jeeps. Of course I didn't compain. The reason for the 4 door KJ and 4 door JK is for future family needs. We are thinking about starting a family here within the next two years or so.

Terry, I hope I'm as cool as you when I turn 61. Some of you “seasoned” Jeepers on this forum are an inspiration and a wealth of knowledge. 8)

I brought up the idea of an SFA to Jen and her response was, "Well, it's your Jeep, do whatever you want." When I told her how much it was going to cost, she then responded with, "I guess that's going to have a wait quite a while, isn't it." There is no way that an SFA is going to fit into our budget in the near future.

That's okay, the SFA will be a fun project for you down the road. You gotta have something fun to look forward to.
