So I was reading 4 Wheel Drive yesterday and I saw a new ad from RockKrawler. They claim to be coming out with a SFA kit for the KJ. I called RK to confirm this and its gonna happen. It is expected to be ready for production this summer. Everything is supplied except for the front axle and steering box. The SFA lift will allow you to run 33-35's. Rear end will be a costom for link that has been improved since the 7up. And the best part is the price is in the 3K price range. I know RK last attempt fell short but at least they are trying. Sounds like this time they got it right. I'm Gonna start saving.

Would be great if someone did one, but I will believe it when I see it. I also really question how great their kit will be given the quality of past kits from them.
Hope they do it right.

Hey Spence, fellow utah guy!

I'm with JJ on this, believe it when we see it. Also, we must question quality of thier kit since the 7up failed miserably.

With that said I hope they can do it and it generates other companies to get going.

If they do it and the kit is well tested I'll buy it.

Yeah it's "4Wheel Drive" magazine page 9. There is a gray Land Cruiser on the cover. I not sure it's really worth buying. Also I was told that the kit was being tested but they were not sure it would make it to Moab for the Easter Jeep Safari. Actually I would like to see it make it to the KJ party a few weeks later.

If it is currently being tested and they can't work the bugs out by EJS then they have problems. If it is for another reason that it might not make EJS, then I apologise in advance.

I hate that there were so many problems with their other IFS kit and it has left us paranoid about what they are working on now. I still say congrats to them for at least working on KJ stuff, maybe they will eventually get it right. At the least it is showing us what Not to do.

I was told that their top priority for the Easter safari was the tj and it had nothing to to with them not trusting this new kj kit. I just want to see it in action some time. Hopefully this all works out.
