Careful out there in horse country. There's shops that'll forget to mention that the "red" Diesel will get you a ticket :)

Spotted a Red 2005 Limited parked next to my Black Limited at Wal Mart in New Castle, DE. There was a woman standing next to it on the phone trying to call her husband. She liked to chrome trim around the wheel the wheel wells I had and wanted to tell her husband about it. They had the chrome door handles and looking more ways to dress it up.

We got talking and I found out she had the TC recall done to it and some CEL problems that the dealer claims they drive it too easy. I believe she has experienced EGR, FCV and MAP buildup we all experienced here. I told her about this web site (wrote down on a piece of paper) and informed her about fixes for the soot problem, acceleration air in fuel problem, and transmission updates.

They loved their CRD and I was glad to hear that. :D

I saw a black CRD limited in menards parking lot in Michigan City today. I went in the store and when I came out the owner of it was waiting to talk to me. His name was Fred or Frank and he said that mine was only the 3rd CRD he has seen besides his. He special ordered his in late 04 and didn't recieve it til May 05 I believe. I told him to get L.O.S.T. so we will see if he joins.

9/22/08, Borders Bookstore parking lot in Augusta, GA. Drew is the owner of a 2005 CRD with Utah plates. The first time I met him was about a year ago in the parking lot of an Ace Hardware in Evans Ga. My son and I had been admiring his silver Liberty CRD with a mild lift, black Cragar wheels and BFG A/T's. I told him that I had been looking to buy a CRD for some time and after our conversation I was convinced that I had to have one. After purchasing my 2006 CRD a couple of months ago I have been looking for him ever since. We met briefly again this week by accident in the parking lot of Borders Books. I was sad to find out that he was shipping off to Iraq this Sunday, 9/28. I promised to catch up with him when he returns, (Praying that God keeps him safe). He is a member of L.O.S.T. already, his username is "drew1", I think...I will try to contact him through the LOST site.
If anyone finds him first, let me know!

I am in Baton Rouge... you already found me!
Also, Bud (KJ 119 I think is his forum name) is around here too. He is in Harahan, La., I think. He has some mudders and a snorkel.
