OK. I bought these about six months ago and waited to post to make sure they were worth it. And I love them. I have the cloth seats in my 2007 sport. Like many others, my cloth seats got "stained" every time anything wet got on them - even bottled water. Then I would have to steam clean them and they would look good again until something dripped or spilled again. So I searched this forum as well as several other Jeep forums for the best option for me. I wanted leather (or quality simulated leather) covers because I figured they would be more wear resistant. My dogs (two 80 lb Labs) love to go for rides with me around town so I wanted something that they wouldn't tear up with their nails, and wouldn't collect dog hair and look nasty all of the time. I ran across some on a Wrangler forum that caught my attention. The comment from the guy on that forum was that he kept his top down most of the time (exposed to elements, heat, etc) and carried his 100 lb dog around with him daily for 3 years and they had held up great. Now I will get off the soap box and show you. You decide...

These are from www.iggee.com They are synthetic leather and add about 3/8" extra padding to the seats. They are truly custom seat covers and are a very tight fit. It took me about 45 minutes to put them on all the seats. The rear cover is split for the bench also so you can still lay down only one side of the bench.

If you go to their site, they do not list covers for the Liberty, but I called and talked to them and they DO have patterns for all years of the Liberty. They have a standard cover with the thin stretchy material on the back of the seats, or the upgraded covers (which I chose) with the same synthetic material on the back of the seats plus a map pocket on the back of the front seats. They also included head rest covers, but I don't use my headrests anyway, so I didn't use them.

The full set - Front and Rear of the upgraded covers ran me about $350 shipped to my house. Yes, they are more expensive the the $20 Wally-World specials, but these are very nice, fit great, and in my opinion are a true upgrade to my interior.

Thanx, and Nope I don't work for Iggee (nor do I get a kickback or discount on my order for posting this). I have been lurking here for about a year since I've had my Libby. Was a regular on the HHR forums before. Glad to be here now...

wow those are nice!!! and yea, it may seem like a lot of money, but for something thats that thick, durable, and such a nice tight/exact fit and look great, you cant beat it. imagine the cost trying to replace a factory seat "cover"(over the foam) from the dealer if you get something spilled on it

Yes, they have red. In fact, you can pick any color from the colors they have - single color or 2 tone like mine. They custom make these only after you place an order. They don't just have them on the shelf ready to send out. It took about 2 weeks to get them from the time I ordered, but well worth the wait.

Exact issue I had with my cloth seats. With these, a wet rag will wipe off any hair and even clean off the dog slobber in the hot months. :-) I know you non-dog lovers don't understand how we can have a dog leaving hair and slobber in our KJs, but oh well, we love 'em and it happens...

Maybe check on a group buy if there would be enough interest.

They look awesome. I am looking for a set of covers. My leather especially on the drivers side is starting to show its age. I have a couple small tears and before they get too bad I should cover them up. I was debating the Wet...okole is it? But these might be a good option. Especially for the price.

That is a great price! The best ones that I have seen are these:

They are almost twice as much as the ones that you have. Nice find! Thanks for passing it along.

I saw them on eBay too. However, when I called them, they said the ebay seat covers (at least at that time) were more of a universal fit seat cover, and they had the thin stretchy material on the back of the seats. Make sure to read the fine print on the auction ones, or call them to verify before you bid. I don't know what the "Standard" or "Universal" ones are like. I chose the upgraded ones because I wanted it to look more like the entire seat was re-skinned. I was afraid the other backing material would stretch out over time and then start sliding around.

I just want everyone to know there are different grades so you don't accidentally get something you didn't expect just because you didn't know there were difference.

If anyone gets the Standard or the Universals, please post pics so we can all see and compare.

Just curious about how much comfort these seat covers add. In my opinion compared to my wifes volvo the seats are like a board with a couple splinters on them. I want to significatly improve comfort and I am curious if these type of covers can help this area.

Well, they are "BETTER", but they are still JEEP seats. They give you about 1/4" - 3/8" of extra padding to the seats. So, unless you replace the seats or completely re-cover and add softer or additional padding, it is about as good as it will get with these seats.

Personally, I don't have any issues with the comfort of the stock seats. I have driven 9 hours per day a couple of times and never had any comfort issues. So I may not be the best one to ask if they improve the seats.
