I asked Heather at All J's if I needed them and she said that I did not. That's the nice thing about the in the strut type of lift versus the outside the strut spacer lifts. The inside the strut type won't allow the strut to over compress since the piston will be at the same place as it would be stock at full compression. The outside the strut type of lift makes the piston go past the stock point at full compression.
