Thats the thing, the hills were pretty nasty but there is no way I hit it on anything, it is too protected up there and there are no marks on it anywhere. I guess it got torqued enough to bend it? On a couple hills one wheel would get airborn a little and start spinning and then grab pretty hard when it got a bite. I can't imagine that bending the driveshaft though.

For now my jeep is a 4x2

Wow the frontshaft is way up in there. It's possible the u-joints are going, does the frontshaft have u-joints?

I had a weight fall off a driveshaft once and yes it will cause a lot of vibes. Look in the phone book for driveshafts places, they can rebalance them for under $15. Worth a shot.

I am going to be out of town until the 26th, then I will try to get it rebalanced. It doesn't have Ujoints like the rear but it does have some flexible connections covered by a rubber boot alot like a CV joint. I am getting tired of fixing things and having the jeep in and out of the shop (so is my wallet).

Maybe I have been pushing the Jeep too hard lately, but I am starting to doubt the durability of the Liberty. Or maybe I am just frustrated and tired of riding my motorcycle in 30 degree weather in the mornings?
