will the smittybilt XRC8 winch fit in an ARB bumper???
I can't find the mounting specs but from the pics on wichdepot.com it looks like it should fit in the ARB if it has the standard mounting holes like WARN/SuperWinch/Mile Marker has.

everything i've found on google says that the XRC8 winch has "Mounting bolt pattern: 10" x 4.5", OAL Dim. 21" x 6.22" x 7.283"" and it seems like the research i've done for arb bumpers... looks like the mounting for in the ARB is 10x4.5 as well... if someone could confirm this.. or atlesat let me know that they have a winch with this bolt pattern and it worked in an arb that would be great!

2006 KJ, You made some good points concerning the cons of a removable winch mount. You know as well as I do, the times that you really need the winch are the times that you wouldn’t have it hooked-up. Therefore, the ARB (which houses the winch) is the way to go in your case scenario. When do you think you "might" get the ARB? What color are you going to paint it? And of course, we want to see pics with the ARB on your mammoth KJ. 8)
