Grrr, everybody is getting ASFIR exept me...hmm, maybe I can rob the bank?

Congrets on the armor, it's the best looking money can buy.

On the tires....245/70/15 won't fit mate, your KJ has 16" rims....So you probably mean 245/70/16 tires.

Why not go with the standard 235's until you get a lift?

KJ's eat tires like I do chewing gum, I need 4 new ones every year.

Yep, typing error - I meant 245/70r16.

Cheapest option could be Ebay, for short term tyre replacement. Really only need to replace the 2 front tyres. The front nearside seems to wear out very fast, probably due to the roundabouts and tight turns into parking spaces.

My Transport Manager is trying to get me some good prices for BFG Ats from a local tyre company. I think 245/70r16 will suit my purpose for daily driving and basic off-road instruction.

Does anybody know the largest tyre size which will fit in the plastic rear tyre carrier / number plate holder? I don't want to relocate the number plate, not to mention move and rewire the number plate light as well.

Ivan

I know for sure 245 does fit. You may need to push it a little but it fits. Tire cover also fits. No problem.

If you want a little longer life on your tires you may try rotating them every 6 months or so, meaning putting the rears on the front etc. Best way is to do it as in the diagram, so you put the right rear on the left front and the leftrear on the rightfront.

I'm going to go to 245/65/ 17's from the stock 235's, they do fit and are only slightly bigger in running circumference.
