Well I started with the lenses installed but ended up taking them out to put them in my lap. I only spent about 10 minutes on this one because the nicks and scratches were a little deeper than I expected and I wasn't trying to spend to much time on them.

Taking off the lens makes it easier to polish.
A T-20 torx bit is what my 2002 needed for all screws. The smaller screws or for the front grill, and the bigger ones are for the headlight. It only takes a couple of minutes to remove the grill and head light. You may need a flat head to unclip the bulb.
After
From what I can tell, the aerodynamics of the jeep must force all dirt and debris right onto the top portion of the lens. You can still see where the scratches are in the pics, but then again I only spent 10 minutes on it. Not too bad for such a short time. You'd be surprised what you could do if you bring your headlight on the couch with a towel, some rags and some polish. Just watch a movie and polish. I did that with my Tahoe and they almost looked new again. I say almost because some lenses get a yellow tint to them and there's nothing you can do about that. I hope this motivates someone to break out the polish.
