This guy thought he was in a Jeep (KN-KJ...easy mistake??)!! (sorry  ) He tried the most extreme route of a 10000 acre offroad centre in North Yorkshire ...BLACK 76

The pictures do not do the descent justice, it is a sheer drop between two very big and very old trees!!

The sites Unimog didn't break a sweat pulling him out

Ha ha well spotted

The Jeep has not been to Langdale quest yet....will post pics when it has

Will be interesting as it is on Stock Goodyears

Black routes at LQ are supposed to be Winch equipped vehicles only...

...may have to stick to red or green

Jeep has been christened of road a few times...was route opening car for a forest gravel rally in Nottinghamshire...was very interesting and the KJ was faultless

What kind of tyres do the KJ's come with over there? Mine came with Goodyear ST's - they are terrible!!! I wouldn't recommend them for off-road use, especially in the mud!!

Gotta give that guy some credit for thinking his high riding car could make it down a trail like that.

Or less to drink  Mud is slippery isn't it ? Looks like that mud bank may have actually saved him.

Got any photos of the MOG in action ?

wait so there is a place in the world where any man can rent a Unimog and thrash it off road. Any chance i get to take anything offroad is fun. If it's someone elses its even better  . If it's a really amazing 4x4, say pinzgaur, unimog, humvee, rubicon, etc, its amazing!!!

I was lent a WJ a couple of years ago by my dealer, so I spent the afternoon at Langdale getting all muddy, then they lent me a WK about a month ago (some people never learn!) and I took that there as well and got that one good and mucky as well

I have Cooper Discoverer ST's on my KJ.
