Wow... nice interface!!!
could we get more emoticons???
Silverfox... I wish you solve all your problems... as a matter of fact I enjoy you posting your jeep's issues (I DO NOT ENJOY THE FACT THAT YOU ARE HAVING A HARD TIME WITH IT, just to be clear) I say I "enjoy" your posts because it helps me understand what to look on my libby when it arrives (sigh... soon)
Your jeeps issues will help me identify if mine has issues.... we can all learn from these posts...
I do not see them as rants, I see them as informative posts... heck if she is taking the time to share her experience with the rest of us the least we can say is
THANK YOU
and for all you group members:
These cars are NOT produced for you: these are mass produced and its obvious that something will go wrong (eventually) with your car....

one last question silverfox:
Have you considered looking into lemon policy?

I really. really, like my Jeep.....I don't really want to get rid of it. I bought it because of the looks of it. I liked the rugged look to it, and my beloved Skyslider roof. Also looked at a Toyota FJ, but there was too much of a blind area towards the back side that I didn't like and didn't think was safe. After the back window seal fix it has been fine....no leaks. When they replaced the passenger seat frame they broke a small plastic piece that fits on the bottom outside of the plastic part of the seat where the seatbelt assembly is. They ordered that part to replace. Need to fix the clicking steering wheel problem, then I think I'll be done with the problems. I'm keeping my fingers crossed 8)

Did u see my previous post on how they fixed mine? My steering column was sticking to the firewall gromet and making a click. They filed down the column a bit and added some lubricate. No more clicking.

Jeep finally got in the little plastic cover part for the seat belt that they broke when they installed the seat frame....and didn't bother to tell me till I had picked up the Jeep, passenger opened the door, and the piece fell off into the street. :x :x Took 2 weeks to get it, but tomorrow they will be replacing it. Still need to have the steering wheel clicking looked at, but I'm on my way out of town to Georgia for the holiday, so that will have to wait until I get back.
So far they have good about fixing my problems. Here's hoping it ends soon
