So I was bumming around jeep.co.uk this evening and checked out the euro version of the KK. Sigh. I wish I had the CRD, but oh well. My question for the masses... does anyone know a supplier/dealer here in the states that would have access to the chrome "Cherokee" side strips? Basically I'm looking to rebadge my Liberty as a Cherokee (sans CRD unfortunately). Just for kicks and giggles of course.

none that I know of, but you could also check over in the Euro section and see if someone overseas would be willing to buy one and ship it to you and you could paypal them

Well, I shot off a large number of e-mails late last night to service centers in europe asking about prices, etc. I've also got a friend in the uk who's willing to post'em back to the states. So.. when I get the info from them (hopefully it'll arrive soon), I'll post the prices and about how much postage would be i ordered in bulk. In case others are interested in them.

Jeep Owner: This is Cherokee!

If only I could get the CRD along with the side strips. Wish they had sold them here in the states. I'd love to have one. That or maybe the beefier 3.0L that's in the euro commander.

That 3.0 you speak of is in the R/T N!tr*$.

I saw that the other day, and was thinking to my self. I said, "Self, Why did'nt this become an option for my vehicle?"

Edit, Oh yeah, count me in. As long as this does not become too steep of a price range.
