Guys remember that the "color" of the coolant is only a DYE. That has no bearing on the chemistry of the actual coolant.

Buy the correct coolant for the Liberty

G-05 or Mopar branded coolant. (never looked into AMSOIL)

Nothing else.

Is that an eBay photo or what you actually bought? Can't quite make out the numbers in the pic, but if yours says MS-9769, you've got the right stuff. And if that's $27 bucks for two gallons, it's not bad. If that's for just one gallon, ouch!

Good deal will have to take a little drive and pick some up! If only the wife was still teaching at Harvard I would have an excuse to do that!

Strange that it doesn't say HOAT on the Mopar label. It must be the right stuff if you got it from the dealer I would guess. It must be an orange -ish color.....right?

I'm not sure what the part number is, but I think that's it. This is two pictures of the same bottle side by side that I found on eBay. It cost $27 for 1 gallon! Yes, it is "orange-ish" and it needed to be mixed 50/50 with water, so actually you'll get 2 gallons out of this 1 gallon bottle.

I just called Valvoline they make the Zerex G-05 and I was told their main distributors are Car Quest and Napa. He said some Advance Auto Parts, Auto Zone, Wal-marts carry it but they are going to be a hit or miss. And this was proven to me I drove to Advance Auto Parts and they used to carry it not anymore. Hope this helps you locate it.
